Travel to Norway Fjords

The western part of Norway is well known for its fjords and mountains which offer the opportunity for many outdoor activities which include fishing, hiking and mountain biking. The Romsdalsfjord is one of the most famous fjords in Norway, located near the city of Molde.
Travelers can take the Raumabanen Railway from this fjord into the nearby mountain range, or choose to cruise around the fjord by boat. A trip to the Varden View point offers a fantastic view of the Molde Panorama, which is comprised of 222 mountain peaks which remain partly covered in snow all year. The Varden View is a ten minute drive from Molde, or a 1 hour walk on a hiking trail. In Molde, tourists will enjoy visiting the Romsdal Museum which is a collection of houses dating from the 1600s.
